The film 4 logo shows of the identity of the channel, with the colour and typography style that is used, it is then recognised as Film 4 by audiences. By creating a quite of idents for this channel, it gives an interaction with the audience, making them get drawn in and more interested in the channel and what is shows.

The colour displayed is red on the car and also primary colour. the duration of the ident is 29 seconds which is often how long an ident is supposed to last for. The tempo and the pace is in slow motion to get that effect of the cars crash. Also the ident is displayed as voiceover which is information led about scheduling. Showing a collection of idents that suit the season appealing to the audience and possibly a larger audience, showing the genre of christmas in their films at that time. The colour shown is red which also was in the other ident in 2006 which implies that the colour red is consistent throughout the two idents. The pace of the ident is slow motion which also the same in the last ident shown. As we see the duration of the ident 26 seconds which is a common time for each ident. However the colour can be a limitation as BBC colour is red which the audience can get confused. The ident is displayed as an voiceover of the presenter saying what is up next.
