Monster Jam fans make their first stop at the official merchandise stand when they get to the show. Each year, there’s a new yearbook, filled with great pictures and information. These become collectibles that are dusted off over time. Here are the covers from the 25 years of Monster Jam.
The Pontiac Silverdome played a key role in early Monster Jam. It was the site of some epic battles.
1992 – Monster Jam action continues to center on outdoor venues like fairgrounds and racetracks, but begins to establish a foothold in conjunction with truck & tractor pulling, which is starting to play before indoor stadiums and larger arenas.
Sometimes, the best days don't end the way you would hope, but it does make for some memories for years to come.
1993 – The syndicated television show “Monster Wars” helped by bringing the sport into the television spotlight.
While the fans enjoyed racing competition, it was freestyle that created more "edge of the seat" moments.
1994 – In the USHRA Thunder Nationals competition, Charlie Pauken successfully defended his 1993 title.
In the mid 1990s, the jump-off became a popular competition and a way to gain bragging rights.
1995 – Monster Jam made its final appearance in Madison Square Garden in New York, ending a three year run in the heart of New York City.
Those who were on hand at this epic event couldn't believe how far this truck could travel through the air!
1996 – Monster Jam began to expand into new markets, creating a relationship with communities that would last for decades, allowing generations of fans to share experiences.
Nothing challenges the skill of driver and machine like a race course and a desire to win.
1997 – In the summer of 1997, the Pace Motorsports U.S. Truckfest brought the largest collection of Monster Jam trucks to one place.
Fans can count on a frantic freestyle from Grave Digger, especially after a narrow loss in racing like this event in Tampa.
1998 – Televised shows like TNN’s Motor Madness kept bringing Monster Jam into living rooms across the country, giving fans something to see until the show hit their hometown.
Tom Meents (Bulldozer) and Dennis Anderson (Grave Digger) meet and compete on a night to remember.
1999 – Dennis Anderson claimed his first major championship by winning the points in the Motor Madness series, getting his trophy in St. Louis.
You just never know when a Monster Jam driver is going to pull off a magic moment to defy belief.
2000 – The evolution of Monster Jam now brought competitors to Las Vegas for the first World Finals. The event featured live pay-per-view and drew a field of 16 trucks.
2001 – The idea of stunts kept adding attraction to Monster Trucks, which had taken center stage by the turn of the century.
Anaheim competition has led to many championships. If you can win in So Cal, you can win anywhere.
Milwaukee has been a longtime host for Monster Jam and Thunder Nationals competition.
2002 – Monster Jam became a worldwide phenomenon with its first international show in Paris, France.
Monster Jam trucks are built to endure punishing runs as drivers put the trucks to the test during freestyle.
2003 – The 2003 season saw the busiest first week as eight cities played host to Monster Jam events.
Performing in her home state of Michigan, Lil Miss Dangerous lived up to her reputation with exciting action.
2004 – An international tour developed with three events in Europe (Antwerp, Stockholm and Helsinki).
2005 –The field of competitors in the World Finals was expanded to 20 trucks. Adam Anderson got his start in Monster Jam at Uniondale, NY..

2006 – Monster Jam migrated from its longtime home in the Pontiac Silverdome to Ford Field for the Detroit market.
Now in its fifth season of Monster Jam competition, El Toro Loco has proven to be a fan favorite.
2007 – Pablo Huffaker gave Captain’s Curse a successful debut by winning the Monster Jam World Finals Freestyle event in the first outing for the new design.
After capturing the racing win, Escalade goes after the Double Down in San Francisco.
2008 – Adam Anderson’s World Freestyle Champion (driving Taz) gave Monster Jam its first father-son World champions.
Wheels up for fans in Kentucky as Grave Digger charges through Lexington.
2009 – Monster Jam held events in Poland and Panama, but the year also saw the first of a long run of engagements in Mexico City.
The fans were on their feet at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, watching to see what Maximum Destruction could do.
2010 – For the first time, Monster Jam is telecast live on SPEED with an event from Atlanta making history.
Cam McQueen was beginning to make a name for himself in Monster Jam.
Fans are still talking about the night that this particular freestyle run set the bar for future competitions.
2011 – Dennis Anderson ran off a string of nine straight racing victories, his streak ending in Atlanta with a loss to Frank Krmel and Grinder.
Toronto got its first look at Adam Anderson and Grave Digger The Legend with a 2011 appearance.
2012 – Grave Digger celebrates the 30th anniversary with a special display at selected shows.
Monster Jam racing has seen some close finishes. Was this one of them?
2013 – Two of Monster Jam’s fan favorites, Scooby-Doo and Zombie, are added to the lineup.
Crushstation heads inland to rack up some top performances of a Milwaukee weekend.
2014 – Monster Jam World Finals expands to three days and the largest field of competitors (32) for Racing and Freestyle.
The Anaheim track always provided a the biggest challenge and drivers knew they had to give it everything to have a chance at winning.
2015 – Monster Jam trucks begin competing on BKT tires. Tom Meents performs a double backflip with Max-D in Foxboro.
After a Double Down performance in 2014, Ryan Anderson and Son-uva Digger came back to Orlando for more in 2015.
2016 – Monster Jam visits Japan with three shows in Osaka. After a three-year absence, action returned to Minneapolis at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.
