The Mesozoic Era started 245 million years ago and ended 66 million years ago. It is when the Age of Reptiles started.
The Triassic Period began 245 million years ago and 208 million years ago it came to a finish. It is the first period of the Mesozoic Era.
The Permian Period started 286 million years ago and it ended 245 million years ago. It is the last period of the Paleozoic Era.
The Carboniferous Period started 360 million years ago and ended 286 million years ago. It is the second last period of the Paleozoic Era.
The Devonian Period started 408 million years ago and ended 360 million years ago. It is the fourth period of the Paleozoic Era.
The Silurian Period started 438 million years ago and ended 408 million years ago. It is the third period of the Paleozoic Era.
This is the era where the earth was created and it is the first era of this timeline. It is the longest era and it is when there was little life.
The Ordovician Period started 505 million years ago and ended 438 million years ago. It is the second period of the Paleozoic Era.
The Cambrian Period started 544 million years ago and ended 505 million years ago. It is the first period of the Paleozoic Era.
This is the Paleozoic Era. It is the second era in this timeline. The Paleozoic era started 544 million years ago and ended 245 million years ago.
The Cenozoic Era started 66 million years ago and never ended yet. It is because we are in the Cenozoic Era.
The Tertiary Period began 66 million years ago and ended 1.8 million years ago. It is the first period of the Cenozoic Era.
