Tycho Brahe was a Danish astronomer. He made much more accurate observations about the solar system. He observed that the planets were differently potitioned.
Galileo was an Italian astronomer. He used his telescope to prove that the sun was the center of the solar systema nd not the Earth. This discovery is also known as HELIOCENTRIC
Copernicus was a Polish astronomer. He tried to find explinations for the motion of the planets. He also included the other six planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
The ancient Greeks believed that the Earth was the center of the solar system and that everything else revolved around it.
Ptomely was a Greek astronomer who studied the solar system. He was the astronomer who purposed the idea the the Earth was the center of the solar system.
Galileo was an Italian astronomer. He was the first astronomer to observe the planets through a telescope. He also proved that the sun was indeed the center of the solar system.
Kepler was a German mathematician. He figured out the planets shape and orbit. Kepler had discovered that the orbit of each planet is an ellipse, or elongated circle.
Isaac Newton, and English Scientist, provided the answer to Kepler's problem. He included 2 factors: inertia and gravity.
