Was the university taking too long to investigate the student's complaint? The school later indicates it knew what would and wouldn't be acceptable to the Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights. "OCR reports a typical university investigation takes approximately 60 calendar days following the receipt of a complaint. The UO took action well within the typical timeframe for such investigations." The school took action against the players 52 days (April 30) after receiving the initial complaint (March 9).
