IWC hosted its first Australian Award in the first round of awards ever offered by DFAT. Seven delegates from the Yellow River Conservancy Commissions studied in Brisbane with a customised training course and work placements for 7 months. Pictured here in UQ's Great Court .

Dugong Rock !
Shakin it for the Dugong was a competition inspired to promote awareness and support for our threatened and endangered coastal habitats. Dugongs are quiet mammals who are in endanger from habitat loss and destruction. The team at the International WaterCentre, International WaterForum and International RiverFoundation decided to get together and show their moves to the world!

Australia Award Indonesia program on water economic regulation
IWC ran a course for 28 Indonesians under the DFAT Australian Awards Indonesia program on water regulatory reform. This included pre and post workshops in Indonesia as well as a tailored 2 week program in Australia. The participants are photographed here in Wivenhoe Dam wall thanks to Seqwater.
