DFAT funded Australian Water Research Facility project conducted a situational analysis in Timor-Leste, becoming part of IWC's foundational work with DFAT on Water Sanitation and Hygiene in developing and fragile nations.

AWRF was IWC's first research project, with integrated catchment management research in the Solomon Islands, situational analysis in Timor-Leste and global water security indicators components. All 4 founding universities were involved.

Shakin it for the Dugong was a competition inspired to promote awareness and support for our threatened and endangered coastal habitats. Dugongs are quiet mammals who are in endanger from habitat loss and destruction. The team at the International WaterCentre, International WaterForum and International RiverFoundation decided to get together and show their moves to the world!
