Xbox 360

this consoel had revolutionary processing power and a unique processing architecture that allowed iot to eb cheaply manufactured and yet render HD games with relative ease, the consoel had a massice 250 Gb of storage and it was fully designed for online gameplay. the controller was revamped and the console had support for HDMI output, it was the first consoel to be able to make use of peopels HDMI T.V which had just flooded the market.

Sony PlayStation 3

this consoel had much of the same features as the xbox 360, although it did have the advantage of using blue-ray discs whcih soudl store 25Gb of data each! this means the games coudl have bigger textures, maps and more objects, the only limmit being the compute power fo the console. It also had bluetooth, micro USB connectors and 250 Gb of storage, on the plus side both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 had support for USb storage so players can store their games after they have finished.

nintendo released the most advanced consoel fo the time, it was small and used optical media, it supported online gameplay as well as the uniqe interactive input, which intailed a infrared reader bar and a controller that monitored acceleration and location, this games consoel gave rise to the aumented reality ethiocs of games, the aim of the console was to abolish the couch potato idea of gaming by making people move for the games, it was a succsess and poeple went mental for the consoel.

A revolution on microsofts accoutn, it is a console with advanced voice recognition and a kinekt sensoor bar that can detect wrist movements, the console is a computer first and the gaming system is a VM which is isolated form the rest of the console this technology means the games are secured from piracy, the console plays DVD's and networked music from windows 8 PC's.

Consoles that were developed with augmentation in mind, these console have massive storage that is customisable by the user, they ahev massive online support and a whole new level of processing power.
