TVE is launched (1.15), along with its infamous discord server. Many purity players flock to the server to rush the end.
Prominent purity players kill the dragon within a day of the server's creation. The egg is taken (and presumed to still be owned by) StarBaron.
After a succesfull ocean maker is launched, JustAnotherSheep floods spawn for the first time. Center and south parts of this ocean would be drain in the first days of Gulag Gang spawn excavation, but the north part is still present today contrary to the first massive spawn ocean.
The first and longest lasting major clan is established on TVE. It had 12 players at its peak. The leader was GlinglinMerguez.
Gulag Gang used TNT dupers and pickaxes to excavate spawn all the way to bedrock. Spawn had never been and has not since been destroyed this badly.
At first called saviours, this small group of 5 players led by Aermyne was known for spamming "Matrix" in the chat. Their main goal was helping new players, so they quiclky untered in conflict with Gulag Gang and Dauntless, and later leaved spawn to make a base far away.
The second major clan is established on TVE. It had 13 members at its peak and was led by Ziryavoid.
First called Lulu's crew, the small clan is established by ed_perm, Lulu49_, and xdTAG_CLAN. Gathering few more players when returning months later.
Gulag Gang built the spawn roof to remove light so mobs could spawn and kill new players. This roof would remain mostly intact until being converted into obsidian by Sheep.
A player by the name of Lidee made it his mission to destroy all 128 end portals, permanently disabling end access on TVE. Gulag Gang fought back and desperately tried to protect the last few end portals, but their efforts were futile. Penguin would end up restoring five end portals near spawn after community outrage. Little did anyone know that Lidee had fooled them all...
The medium clan is established on TVE. It had 7 members (and few recruits) at its peak. The group would swap leadership 3 times: beginning with GreatZepplin, then Dutch2011, then finally MysticalDestroyr.
Perhaps the biggest group to ever grace the server, Gulag Guardians saw members from Gulag Gang, Lunaria, and F clan. It would amass 28 players at its peak. It was led by GlinglinMerguez.
Penguin was never truly hands off with TVE. In the old days, he would often watch over players and observe what they were doing. Grimone took this oppurtunity to kill Penguin in Dauntless base. This is the only known time that Penguin was killed on TVE.
A smaller clan consisting of 5 players at its peak. Led by BigManReef.
Many major bases were griefed by Gulag Gang- Lunaria, F Clan, BerkTR, and Dauntless bases, as well as Zippier's personal base- despite Gulag Gang's alliance with them all.
ed_perm (from Lunaria) became the first player to reach the world border, building an obsidian penis to celebrate.
A "rebirth" of the BigBoyMen Syndicate. It had 4 players at its peak and was led by BigManReef.

Wrath was a medium sized clan that had 9 players at its peak and was led by ZippierDazbo.
Lulu49_ and JustAnotherSheep worked together to dupe items for the first known time on TVE. Lulu would crash the server using insane movement exploits while Sheep would collect loot from end city chests with precise timing. The constant server crashing, however, would lead to movement restrictions being added on fast travel.
Due to the previously mentioned movement restrictions and another round of base leaks, over 5 clans were dissolved, and many old players quit TVE for good.
Yet another rebirth of both the BigBoyMen Syndicate and Veradicans. The leader was once again BigManReef, and the group consisted of 7 players at its peak.
The second big group merged members from Dauntless and Gulag Gang. It was co-led by Ziryavoid and GlinglinMerguez. It had 25 players at its peak.
Large groups and clans such as The Coalition, Gulag Gang, and Dauntless are disbanded, and many players in those groups left TVE for good.
As a result of version updates (1.15 -> 1.16.1), a glitched nether portal appeared on the roof at Wrath base.
JustAnotherSheep flooded spawn in a 700x100 area using ocean makers. The ocean would last, largely intact, for over 3 months before being drained completely.
After Gulag Gang leaved, its members gave all they had to Wrath. It was the biggest raid in the server's history before dupes.
A final rebirth of Wrath and BigMen. It had 5 players at its peak. The group did not have a leader and instead was an alliance.
Wrath spawns a whopping 700 withers at spawn. There was no dupe at the time.
A small faction created based on the Friedmanism religion. The group had 5 members and was led by Valtarius. They focused on building churches and spreading their beliefs through the server. (unknown lifespan)
Many players came together to complete the daunting task of completely removing the massive 700x100 spawn ocean.
CROSS FACTION was a london-based faction led by Elun02 which consisted of 7 players. The group was based on the ideology of worshipping upside-down crosses. Their base is the cross temple in a Jungle, and they like to think of their faction as a crusade. (unknown lifespan)
A player by the name of LeftyIsHere joined TVE and began using a secret duping method. The dupe would slowly spread throughout the player base, and duped items hyperinflated the servers economy. Eventually the lag from so many loaded chests of items at stashes would strain the server to the point of constant crashes; Penguin would end up patching the dupe on December 20th after incessant complaints from various players.
JustAnotherSheep worked with Cwedin78 and AncyenT to flood spawn even more than before. This new ocean was wider and had move layers to it (10), making it harder to remove. Today, the most part of this ocean has been drained but the north-east area is still visible.
A player by the name of Audiobsessed was known for lagging the server constantly over the span of a couple weeks. It turned out he was also recieving help from teebee_303, obyx, and VoiceOfTheWorld. The group built lag machines all across the server; one notable design would freeze any player who went into the end. Eventually players complained enough to Penguin, and he added a plugin to remove the snowball and armor stand lag methods.
A small group formed by Flawing, TacoSpice127, deathnotedev and teebee_303 with the intent of drying the second massive spawn ocean
A medium sized group based around religion and trading and assumed rebirth of Muisiriun. The group was led by Valtarius, and had 10 members. It is assumed that the group has constructed 35 churches throughout the server. Their activity time span was actually quite short as once their main base was griefed, their discord server died completely.
Mass amounts of duped items worked their way across five separate dupe stashes in the end. The group of 6 players led by LeftyIsHere began Moonbase Alpha on the 14th, then Beta, Gamma and finally Delta on the 21rst. House made his own stash after threatening the rest of the group. All members of Moonbase would eventually learn how to dupe, and would fill the stashes with millions of duped items. Alpha, Beta, Gamma and House's stash are griefed today and the duped stuff can be found all arround the server. It is assumed that Delta base is still intact as well as Lefty stashes.
Grimone and Cyrobalt work together to spawn 1000 withers at overworld and nether spawn using duped materials. Many groups followed and withers can be seen at multiple places today.
After attemps to drain the second massive spawn ocean, JustAnotherSheep and multiple volunteers replaced a 200x200 area of the spawn roof with obsidian. Taking three weeks of work, this conversion is assumed to be intended to protect the ocean by making it harder to be drained. This roof would end up completely destroyed by Gulag Gang during the ocean war.
The server meant to only last 2 weeks ended up lasting 11 months. Penguin was no longer able to host the 1.8 terabyte world, and many players offered to take over the server. Who would be the hero TVE desperately needed?
Penguin ultimately chose the owner of anarchy server Nether Anarchy to take over TVE. sleepylessons now runs both servers, as well as TVE's discord. A new era in TVE history has begun.
It had been long assumed that Lidee had griefed every end portal, which forced penguin to restore 5 near spawn. To the shock of many, however, Lord_Adamus discovered that Lidee had actually left two portals open that were assumed to have been destroyed. Lidee had fooled everyone- including penguin himself- for almost 10 months.
The server meant to only last 2 weeks ended up lasting an entire year. Many old players who had since quit the server gathered at spawn to celebrate the anniversary. The first year of TVE was quite a great experience for many; lets hope the next year is even better.
A new group led by BigManReef with 8 members and currently focusing on removing spawn oceans and building the north canal.
Gulag Gang is back with 15 members. Still led by GlinglinMerguez, the chaos group to which Lunaria is now integrated begins to behave as it is known for, excavating spawn, building roofs, raiding, and hiring other players to work for them.
Group composed by Gulag Gang members and all the players working for the group (at the time, Gulag members + 11 active players).
The second massive spawn ocean has suffered numerous attempts to dry up. As some players started to drain it again, those who made the ocean tried to stop them. Creating a war about the existence of the spawn ocean. On one side the pro-oceans were flooding spawn even more to stop the draining process, and on the other side, Gulag Gang and Niggang were experimenting what can be seen as a strange strategy; building pubes.
Result of the Ocean war, this huge structure has been the most important project on TVE so far, with as many as 20 different players building (from Gulag Gang, Niggang and others).It is designed to prevent any future ocean maker to flood spawn and currently contains approximately half a million blocks of obsidian.
