Food drive for JFS Main Contact CFTY The Social Action Committe hep with promoting this event and will deliver the collected foods to JFS.
Social Action will provide a professional speaker, Lisa Matthews, School Counselor, Carrollton-Farmer's Branch ISD for our Hebrew school Children - 9 & 10th grade, 11 & 12th grade. Our speaker, licensed child psychologist will educate and make children aware of bullying in person as well as online. The Social Action Committee will provide snacks. Children will follow up with an activity ex : create an Anti Bullying Board. Main contact : S G
Emilie’s place is a woman’s shelter right here in Collin County. To help women to re-insert back into a professional live we will collect gently used, clean clothes, bags, shoes for women and children. Collection boxes will be available at Adat Chaverim We might also follow up and help with resume writing Main Contact : P K.
Last year we delivered a hand painted mailbox to Children's medical. It was filled with greetings cards to make our little patients feel better. These cards need to be renewed and we need to work with our Religious School to send out quaterly feel better cards. Main contact SJ
