You will have to be very ORGANIZED! - Dates will be given to you as DEADLINES for letter requests and these deadlines must be met by you, the student, or a letter will not be written. - Complete your Personal Insight Questions (PIQs) and have them proofread! - Have all info ready for applications! - Take SAT or ACT (optional) - Have a personal email for universities to contact you!

-October 1st is the first day you may submit the FAFSA-Free Application for Federal Student Aid. March 2nd is the deadline. The sooner you complete and submit the FAFSA the better-Don’t Delay!

(Optional) - Check your college application accounts to ensure each university has received all necessary documents etc.

- Continue to earn good grades! - Mt. Sac CONNECT 4 Process begins - Mid-Year Reports: PRIVATE SCHOOLS ONLY- If a university you applied to requires a mid-year report; make sure you request your GLC to submit the proper documents. If not submitting electronically, provide completed mid-year report forms to GLC. - Start the process for enrollment to the Community College System or Trade or Technical schools. if you are planning on attending a junior college listen for bulletin announcements, see your GLC. - Send first semester grades only to Universities requesting them.

You are close to the end but you need your second semester grades for your high school diploma - Remember that your college admission is conditional... you need to pass your classes with a C or better - Check your college application portal for any additional information requested. - As you begin to receive information on possible financial aid/scholarships, review the offers and submit all necessary paperwork. - As admission decisions start coming in, read all of the information carefully and weigh the pros and cons of each offer. Please keep in mind quality of life at the university, cost, academics etc. Will you be happy there? Make another visit to these schools if necessary.

- Before May 1st, submit your Statement of Intent to Register-(SIR) to the University of your Choice and as a common courtesy let all other universities that admitted you know of your decision not to attend. - If you have registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center and plan on competing in college athletics as a freshman you should log into your account after April 1st and submit your Final Amateurism Questionnaire information.
