5th AMA: Steam, GOG & Piranha Launcher
Russ Bullock says that "at the moment" there is no plan for MW5 to be an Epic exclusive and that "at the moment" the plan is to release it on Steam, GOG and Piranha's own launcher. In hindsight, his excessive use of the phrases "at the moment" and "now" makes it clear that he was expecting things to change.

According to the July 2019 AMAs there was a 3 day overlap. The exclusivity deal was finalized and PGI nevertheless still sold Steam keys.

All mentions of Steam keys are gone, prompting players to worry about Epic exclusivity. Russ Bullock later confirms that the revamped FAQ was accidentally put online too early by the web team.
