Lebanese Civil War
Lebanese Civil War Following the displacement of Palestinian refugees from what became Israel, led to a fight between the Maronite Christians that ran the government of Lebanon and the PLO. The United States tried to negotiate peace between the two sides, after Israel attacks Syrian and Palestine forces, and the PLO agrees to withdraw (incidentally, leading to American troops being deployed into Lebanon.)
