Christ was Born of Mary
Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was known to be born in Sepphoris or Tzippori. As I have reviewed details of Mary, I have come to a few conclusions. Mary has been highly regarded and exalted because of her role as the chosen vessel of the Lord in bringing Christ, the Son of God, into this world. Mary was a precious and holy woman who was chosen of God to do a great work. She meekly fulfilled her mission. She brought Jesus into this world and nurtured him. She was an example of humble faith and trust in the Lord. One of her given names by later generations refers to her as truthful. Scripture refers to her as most beautiful and fair above all other virgins. She must have been one of total virtue that her countenance truly glowed. When the angel Gabriel appeared to her and told her that she was highly favored of God and that she would conceive, she was taken back, for she was a virgin. But, as he revealed to her how it would be, she accepted it as truth and began preparing her mind for the work at hand. I find her submissive response to Gabriel most admirable and endearing. She stated: "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word" (Luke 1:38). I honor Mary for her life well lived and believe that she is with God our Father continuing to fulfill her mission in the heavens.

Upon being chained up for his choice during a battle and suffering great grief, he committed never again to "sin against God". --this kind of commitment was the result of the teachings of this man, Mahomet. ------------------------------ "One hundred years extended the Mahometan power over more territory than the Romans gained in eight hundred years; in a very short time all Arabia bowed to his scepter, and he was confirmed in his kingly power, and assumed the ensigns of royalty in 628."

It is known that Armenians became a target of extermination to the Turkish Government. Government leaders began forecefully directing Armenians into labor camps and into the desert and many other areas where they were killed or very poorly treated. Over a 7-year period, it is believed that around 1.5 million Armenians were killed.
