Even Stevens never failed to do something incredibly out of the ordinary. Each episode dealtt with the craze that was the Stevens family and mainly focused on the clashing personalities of the two youngest siblings Louis and Ren. The show had plenty of wild moments and sets of really strange characters such as the main character Louis and their weird neighbor “Beans.”This was the show that launched Shia Labeouf's career before he entered Transformers. Although, it was popular it too didn’t manage to go past 65 episodes.

The was won 125 total awards ranging from best animated television production for children to a few Emmys. For example, the episode "Sailor Mouth", in which SpongeBob and Patrick learn profanity, was inspired by creative director Derek Drymon's experience of getting in trouble as a child for using the f-word in front of his mother. Drymon said, "The scene where Patrick is running to Mr. Krabs to tattle, with SpongeBob chasing him, is pretty much how it happened in real life". The end of the episode, in which Mr. Krabs uses even more profanity than SpongeBob and Patrick, was inspired "by the fact that my [Drymon's] mother has a sailor mouth herself" Most of the humor that you hear in show is referencing current events, and having cultural references as well. Many included Greek mythology and humor from Star Wars, and lets not forget SpongeBob’s wacky antics. Rice, J. L. (2009, December 2). In journal of popular culture. Retrieved November 3, 2016.
Lizzie Mcguire aired in 2001 starring Hilary Duff and ended 2004 with The Lizzie Mcguire movie. The show is considered one of Disney’s classics along with shows like Even Stevens and That’s So Raven. Although it’s premise seems pretty basic, it’s a show many think about when it comes to disney shows in the 2000’s. The story follows 13 yr old Lizzie Mcguire and her daily life growing up into adulthood that deals with common themes involved with coming into your own such as relationships, bullies, popularity, family, and more. The difference between this and others like it is her alternate personality depicted as a cartoon version of her that would show up in each moments at times.
That’s So Raven is considered one of Disney’s greatest success. It’s the first show on Disney to exceed past the 65 episode show limit due to its popularity. It first aired January 17, 2003 and lasted up to 4 seasons. According to this article, Raven Symone initially auditioned for the role of Chelsea, but they thought her performance was so great that she got the lead role instead. Part of the show’s success stems from the creative premise of the show, along with the great performances by Raven and the rest of the cast. The show is known for being outrageous while still managing to touch on major issues such as racism and the way the media shapes how women are portrayed. Recently, Raven Symone announced she’s leaving The View to work on a spin off that’s currently in the works.

Won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation in 2006 The plot of this cartoon follows the somewhat spooky and grotesque adventures of the dark and cynical Mandy, her dim-witted and optimistic friend, Billy and the Grim Reaper himself; who Billy and Mandy tricked into being their best friend forever in a game of limbo. The series won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation in 2006. The animation style is somewhat reminiscent of Ren and Stimpy in terms of the sometimes grotesque imagery. While there are punchlines that are stupid and goofy, there are also some that are a bit darker considering that it’s a children’s cartoon.
Nominated for a Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in Television Animation for episode "The Tower of Dr. Zalost" in 2003. The plot follows the adventures of a pink cowardly dog named Courage and his simple farmer owners; loud and rude Eustace and soft and kind Muriel while they live in a strange place called Nowhere. Strange and supernatural things find Courage’s family and Courage must face his fears in order to protect his family from them. Once again, the art style of this show is very grotesque in nature as the creatures that come to haunt Courage’s family are often frightening in nature or Courage’s imitations that he tries to relay to his family are often also grotesque. The show often puts Courage’s family in a sci-fi or horror short story almost; with (almost) everything going back to normal at the end of the episode. The show was nominated for a Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing in TV Animation for episode "The Tower of Dr. Zalost" in 2003.
Follows a plot that consist of a fifth grader who is portrayed as way more intelligent than the average person in grade school. This show only lasted for three seasons, but this was a follow up from the movie which was released in 2001. Most of the comedy in the show comes from jimmy and his friend sheen. There is humor behind jimmy, it seems that when he builds or creates an invention he ends up spending time how to get to work. Sheen on the other hand is just out of his mind and has very little common sense. Plus he has this obsession his action figure Ultra-Lord. Most kids could relate to this because most of us did have a favorite action figure or doll.

A lazy, video-game playing slacker named Coop, finds a hot rod at his local junkyard and buys it for two dollars. The original pilot, Kiva tries to take control of the robot but due to Coop’s modifications only he can pilot it. So now Coop and the mecha; dubbed Megas XLR are the only things that can help save the world. This show obviously has some anime inspiration as it was airing around the same time as other anime inspired shows on Cartoon Network like Teen Titans and Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi, but it has more of an American spin on it.
