Beginnig

The Hasten Hebrew Academy was incorporated as a non-profit organization on March 30. The Hasten Hebrew Academy opens its doors at B'nai Torah with 18 students, forming a kindergarten, first, second, and third grade in September. Edwin Epstein served as the first principal of the school until 1978.

A fourth grade is added to the school, with a new grade added every year until an 8th grade is established in 1978.

The ground breaking for a brand new building .

June 20 Lipot Frankovitz contributed $200,000 towards the new school building, allowing the building to go up without a single mortgage payment needed.
