Segment 2A from Alvarado Street to Wilshire/Western -- still the current terminus of Purple Line -- opens.
Red Line reaches Hollywood/Vine
Segment 2B between Wilshire/Vermont and Hollywood/Vine is dedicated and opened.
Red Line to NoHo and Rapid Bus debut
Segment 3 of the Red Line opens between Hollywood/Vine and North Hollywood as well as the first two Rapid Bus lines -- on Wilshire and Ventura boulevards.
