The Roadmap descriped outlines how will the Europe's economy be transformed into a sustainable one by 2050. This policy works as "incentives for healthier and more sustainable production and consumption of food and to halve the disposal of edible food waste in the EU by 2020."

How Does the Policy Response in Europe be promoted
In order to promote the development of the sustainable policy, a public consultation on the "Sustainability of the Food System" was launched in 2013.
