Bell studies at University of edinburgh
In 1865 Bell studies at the University of Edinburgh for research of the resonance of the mouth while speaking. Bell became his father's factotum for auditory purposes, learning his father's system of visible speech.

Bell's Family move to canada
In 1870, Bell's family travel to Brantford, Ontario, Canada to preserve his health. A year later went to Boston, Massachusetts to become an instructor at Sara Fuller's School for the Deaf, the first of many in the world. His inspiration came from his grandfather.

Bell's new experiments
From 1873-1876, Bell starts experimenting on speech devices: a phonograph, a multiple telegraph, and electric speaking telegraph ( or the telephone).

Bell's Telephone theory
In his endless efforts for improving auditory impairments for the deaf, Bell begins to work with a human ear, a tympanum, magnets, and smoked glass in the summer of 1874.

First transmitted musical note
In 1875, Bell began effusing ideas for the construction of the telephone with Thomas Watson, the assembler. They worked with magnets and reeds to transport sound with a sender. The first transmitted musical note was established on June 2, 1875.

First Transmitted voice message
On March 2,1876, a new era of communication technology emerged! Bell sends over the world's first message over his electric speaking telephone to his partner Watson from Boston to New York. The news of this groundbreaking technology spread out to England and Brazil. Brazil's Emperor made and order of a hundred telephones for his country.

Bell forms a joint company
Western Union and Bell's telephone company made an alliance and formed a joint company. Western Union would get 20 percent of Bell's telephone company profits for providing wires, circuits, and equipment ( Basically becoming the companies supplier).

Bell's Company collaboration
Theodore Vail, Bell's company organizer consolidates with six different companies. Also around this time Francis Blake, Emile Berliner, and Edison made improvements toward the modern transmitter of the telephone.

Bell's Later interests
In 1895, Bell's has new primary interests for aviation becoming a regent for the Smithsonian Institute. He also became involved with hydrodynamics and sheep breeding in 1898.
