Krypton mixes with Argon as a source of energy saving fluorescent gas lamps. Tpgether with Xenon, it creates a birghter light which is used to allow higher temperatures.
In the atmosphere, krypton's concentration is 1 ppm. The amount of it in space is uncertain, but the first measurements suggested that it was an overabundance.
Krypton can be used to discover the presence of secret nuclear weapons and its research facilities. Also, krypton-fluorine lasers produce pulses with 500 times the power of the US.
