First Programming Language

Bill Gates & Paul Allen create the first programming language in their garage.

First Computer--Z1

The Z1, originally created by Germany's Konrad Zuse in his parents living room, is considered to be the first electrical binary programmable computer.

ENIAC

Invented by J. Eckert & John Mauchly. Took up 1,800 square feet of space & weighed almost 50 tons. It is considered to be the 1st digital computer.

First Computer Brain (CPU)

First CPU made

First PC available

The Altair 8800 is available. It has 64KB of memory (not even enough to remember an entire song!) It cost $1,295.

Apple I Debuts

The Apple I comes out. It is the very first Mac.

Apple II Released

The Apple II computer is released. I have one of these at home!

Mrs. Oak is born!

I'm born! YAY!

Commodore 64 Released!

It becomes one of the most successful PCs of its time! I also have one of these at home!

First Intel Inside!

Intel releases the first Intel computer.
