We rounded up the June Camps (Sec 1 & 2 and Sec 3 Pre-Con Camp) with a celebration to thank each one of the facilitators & helpers for sacrificing so much of their time and energy.

The Facilitators In Training (FIT) is a program that gives the opportunity for individuals who enjoy learning, leading and being a positive role model in the life of others. The program will focus on leadership skill, facilitation skills, counseling skills and organization skills. Each facilitator in the FIT program must graduate with the objective of being prayerful, confident of self, a servant leader and a want to build community. Selection & Initiation The selection process has to be stringent and the want for such skills must come from the facilitator. The chosen facilitators will go through firstly an interview process. Prior to the interview, the prospective facilitator will be requested to contemplate on What they want out of life? During the interview the interviewer will share a little about what the expectations of the prospective facilitator will be for the program. Interviews would be 2 interviewers to 1 prospective facilitator.
STC Youth came together to train and run this meaningful 10km Yellow Ribbon Prison Run 2012. We believe in second chances. The run blends endurance, challenges and community involvement – all the elements that make up the reintegration journey of the ex-offenders. The run cut through routes in the east where lush greenery blends in with historic sites and ended inside Changi Prison Complex.
1st FIT Meeting graced with the attendance of Fr. Stephen Yim. Facils were greeted with a special welcome dinner and presented with a copy of YouCat (CCC for Youth) and a Facil File.
