The First Spinjitzu Master makes the Four Golden Weapons (the Scythe of Quakes, the Nunchucks of Lightning, the Shurikens of Ice, and the Sword of Fire) in the Golden Peaks, a volcano, so that he could make the country of Ninjago. He makes it so if someone successfully gets all four of the Golden Weapons to the Golden Peaks that they will merge together making them the Mega-Weapon.
The First Spinjitzu Master creates Ninjago with the Four Golden weapons of Spinjitsu.
The First Spinjitzu Master is cursed by one of his enemies to live longer than a normal human.
The Monastery of Spinjitzu is made on the Mountains of Impossible Height.
A pirate named Captain Soto and his crew make a Pirate Ship called the Destiny's Bounty.
Captain Soto and his crew ride the Destiny's Bounty and try to find an island known as the Island of Darkness. Captain Soto writes his Captain's Log and puts it in a secret drawer in his table and goes to check on the rest of the crew. Some of the crew get drunk and make one of the crew members (who is missing both eyes) named One-Eyed Pete steer the ship, and he accidently steers them back into Ninjago. The ship then crashes into a mountain and sinks, killing the crew.
Garmadon becomes the first born son of the First Spinjitzu Master.
Wu becomes the second born son of the First Spinjitzu Master.
Wu and Garmadon play in the Monastery of Spinjitzu with swords. Garmadon defeats Wu and his sword goes over the wall around the Monastery. Garmadon tells Wu to go get the sword but Wu is scared. Garmadon then tells him "Never put off tomorrow what can be done today." Wu is still scared so Garmadon goes to get it for him. When Garmadon reaches down to get the sword he gets bitten by a snake who will soon be known as the Great Devourer and is turned evil from its venom's power.
The First Spinjitzu Master dies of old age.
Garmadon tries to steal the four golden weapons but is stopped by the power of Wu's kimono and was struck by lightning and sent to the underworld with the skeleton army.
After Garmadon was banished to the underworld he fought the king of the skeletons Samukai and defeats him. After wining and becomes the lord of the Skeletons.
Wu hides the Scythe of Quakes in the Caves of Despair and leaves an Earth dragon there to protect it.
Wu hides the Nunchucks of Lightning on the Floating Ruins and leaves a Lightning dragon there to protect it.
Wu hides the Shurikens of Ice in the Frozen Wasteland and leaves an Ice dragon there to protect them.
Wu hides the Sword of Fire in the Temple of Fire and leaves a Fire Dragon there to protect it.
The Great Devourer attacks Ninjago and is tricked into going into a tomb. The Great Devourer went into a deep sleep that day and can not be awakened from it until it is freed from the tomb.
Someone finds and fixes up the Destiny's Bounty, giving it a new paint job and leaving it on the side of a beach.
Some villagers trick the Serpentine into going into getting stuck in their five different lairs to separate the five different tribes.
Wu trains to become a sensei and succeeds.
Wu creates the map to find the four Golden Weapons in case they are needed in the future.
Wu gives the map of the locations of the four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu to his closest friend (who will become the father of Kai and Nya) and the man that he can trust the most.
Zane is made by Dr. Julien and is made as human as possible and is thought how to do many things.
Dr. Julien dies of old age and resets Zane's memory.
Clutch Powers takes one of the Fang Blades and turns it into a trophy called the Blade Cup.
Lou, Cole's future father, and his dance crew win the Gold Cup at the first Ninjago Talent Show.
Cole is born.
Kai is born.
Jay is born.
Nya is born as the sister of Kai.
Lloyd Garmadon is born as the son of Lord Garmadon, but is given to Sensei Wu by his father so that he can have a choice to be good or evil.
Kai's father teaches him how to be a blacksmith.
Kai and Nya's Father Dies
Jay tries to use his new invention, the Mechanical Wings. While trying he accidently crashes into a building where Sensei Wu is drinking tea. Jay tells his mother and father that he is going with Sensei Wu to train and become a ninja.
Cole goes hiking in the Mountains of Impossible Height when he is found by Sensei Wu. Sensei Wu asks him if he would like to come with him and train to become a ninja. Cole then tricks his father into thinking that he is trying to make his father's dream come true and become a great dancer, but instead is training with Sensei Wu.
Zane tries to test his limits and see how long he can stay underwater without breathing. He then noticed that Sensei Wu was underwater with him. He then left with him and was trained to be a ninja.
Lloyd Garmadon is sent to Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys for his rude and bad behavior. One of the kids named Brad Doodlebomb puts fire ants in his bed. When Lloyd finds out Brad says that he was just trying to show him how things at the school work. Lloyd also meats another student named Gene.
Cole, Jay, and Zane finish their training as ninjas.
Sensei Wu comes to see Kai and Nya for the first time, but members of Garmadon's skeleton army attack. Kai puts on some of his armor that he uses to fight the skeletons. Nya tries to help. Sensei Wu comes and helps also. The skeletons capture Nya. Kai gets angry at Sensei Wu for not stopping them. Sensei Wu then tells Kai who Lord Garmadon is and why they need to stop him. Kai says he doesn't want to join in on his sibling rivalry. Sensei Wu then knocks Kai down and says "Clunky of you. You are not even ready to face my pinky toe." Kai then agrees to go with him to learn Spinjitzu.
Kai is trained to find out how to be a ninja in order to find his sister.
Kai meets the other ninjas Cole, Zane, and Jay. Sensei Wu gives each of the elemental colors. Kai got red for fire, cole got black for earth, Jay got blue for lightning, and Zane got white for ice.
The Ninjas set out to find one of the Golden Weapons, the Scythe Of Quakes, and have their first encounters with the Earth Dragon. During the battle they all unlock their Spinjitzu.
After the skeleton army's defeat at the camp Samukai goes to Garmadon to warn him of the Ninjas.
The ninjas go to the Frozen Wasteland to find another Golden Weapon, the Shurikens of Ice. During the trip Wu tells the ninjas about the Tornado of Creation. They arrive and walk up the mountain. When they enter it they notice the Shurikens of Ice floating underneath the Ice Dragon. When Zane reaches up to get them, the power of the shurikens freezes him. After they escape the mountain from the dragon, Zane gets free.
The ninjas climb the Floating Ruins to get the Nunchucks of Lightning and are noticed that they are being followed by skeletons. Jay is the first to make it to the top and takes the nunchucks but a bolt of lightning strikes and a dragon appears behind him. They jump off to avoid the dragon and skeletons. They all open packs on their backs and Jay's invention, the Mechanical Wings.
The ninjas celebrate in their victory to find most of the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu.
Kai wakes up seeing a trick from Garmadon, that looks like Nya and follows it to the Fire Temple. Once he notices he's been tricked he notices where he is. Nya is then lowered from the chains she is tied up to so that Kai can walk straight into Garmadon's trap. Kai picks up the Sword of Fire and frees Nya. Garmadon transforms Kai's shadow into a minion to defeat Kai. He then makes multiple others. Then Sensei Wu comes to save them. While Wu was distracted Garmadon sent his skeleton army after Cole, Zane, and Jay. Samukai takes the other three Golden Weapons and claims that they now belong to Lord Garmadon. Garmadon then tells the fire dragon that Wu, Kai, and Nya are intruders. The dragon closes the door and traps the 3 in the temple. Sensei Wu then jumps on to a large rock and that floated away from the rest of the temple. Kai then starts blaming himself for all of it. The dragon corners Kai and Nya. Garmadon then tells Samukai that Wu was heading for the Underworld with the Sword of Fire. He then tells him to come to the underworld to put the four Golden Weapons together. Just before the skeletons leave Jay steals one of the weapons to free Cole, Zane, and himself. Once they were free they jumped into the trees. The skeleton's vehicles had to obtain full speed to make it to the underworld. The ninjas, without Kai, follow the skeletons and try to slow them down. Jay tries to get the Golden Weapons free from a cage by punching it. He then tries to ask Cole for help but he accidently hits Jay in the neck making it hard for him to talk. Samukai then goes full speed on the vehicle making the ninjas fly off. Jay then tries to say something, but Cole says it for him, saying that they lost.
Sensei Wu wakes up in the underworld. He picks up the sword of fire in case it is needed. He then sees the home of the skeletons. Cole, Jay, and Zane go to the fire temple to save Kai and Sensei Wu but the door is closed and Zane senses that the end is near. But then they hear Kai's voice and the Fire Temple splits in two halves showing Kai and Nya on the Fire Dragon. Cole then hides because of his fear of dragons. Jay tries to ask Nya if she likes blue but can't because Cole accidently hit him in the neck. Zane says it for him instead. Nya then says it's her favorite color. Jay gets happy from this statement because his suit is the color blue. Kai the tells Nya she must stay behind. The ninjas then set out to get the other dragons.
After Kai had the Fire Dragon the other ninjas needed their own to so they can all cross over too the underworld. They had to go back to the Frozen Wasteland to get the Ice Dragon for Zane.
Cole went back to the Caves of Despair to get the Earth Dragon.
