The bombing of London lasted a few nights. The Saint Paul Cathedral was destroyed (all that history GONE). Big Ben was badly damaged and the Medieval town of Dresden was completely destroyed.
The Lend-Lease Act was basically the U.S.A. lending ,military forces to the other Allied Powers.
Operation Barbarossa is basically the nickname Germans used for the Invasion of the Soviet Union.
Though this didn't pull the U.S OFFICIALLY into the war, it pretty much did.

The Allied Powers landed on Normandy, France.
He killed himself because he didn't want to be put on trial and hung. So he and his girlfriend got married and then committed suicide. YAY!
