75 years ago, the Tyrant King, Galbatorix, was defeated by Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales. Months later, they set out east from Alegasia, searching for a land to safely raise and train new dragons and riders. At some point, they reached the land upon which they built Skulblaka Kastali. ;xNLx;;xNLx;Many new riders have journeyed to the Keep, and must now begin their arduous training.
Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Brightscales, with help from Arya Drotting, Elva, Glaedr, and many of the old Eldunari, defeat the Tyrant King, Galbatorix, ending the reign of the Empire.
Sev're the elf is 99 years old and is bonded to Das the Dragon.
Nill the elf is 30 years old an dis bonded to Jek the Dragon
Naakhûrz, a Kull, is 27 years old and is bonded to the dragon, Ophelia.
Virgilia, a human, is 22 years old and bonded to the dragon, Weiss.
Torhven is 19 years old and bonded to the dragon, Svalstrom.
Glover is 18 years old and bonded to the dragon, Akrath
Anduil is 16 years old and bonded to the dragon, Briam.
Ophelia, a dragon, is 3 years old and is bonded to the Kull, Naakhûrz.
Jek, a dragon, is 3 years old and is bonded to the elf, Nill
Das, a dragon, is 3 years old and is bonded to the elf, Sev're.
Svalstrom, a dragon, is 2 years old and is bonded to the human, Torhven.
Akrath, a dragon, is 8 months old and is bonded to the human, Glover.
Weiss, a dragon, is 5 months old and is bonded to the human, Virgilia.
Briam, a dragon, is 5 months old and is bonded to the human, Anduil.
The newest Dragon Riders arrive at Skulblaka Kastali and converse with the Presence for the first time.
After peering into the mysterious pool of the Presence, the new Riders and Dragons make their way up to the keep, where they are greeted by Zeterra the Half, her dragon, Shiva, and Chep Firebeard, the dwarf weapons-master.
After a long day, the heroes find themselves in the barracks, where they meet each other for the first time and discuss their goals and hopes, among other things.
The new Riders are taken to the training field early in the morning, where they begin to learn the basics of swordplay and archery. Later, Zeterra and Shiva begin teaching them the fundamentals of magic and the Ancient Language.
Having endured the first day of training, the dragons flock to the dragon hold and discuss the events of the day with one another.
After a week of difficult training, the group is taken to an island, where they will spend the next week together.
The Riders are called on an important mission to scout out any more of the mystical shards!
