The life of Annie Oakley.
On August 18th, 1860, Annie Oakley is born in Darke Country, Ohio. Her real name is Phoebe Ann Moses. Her parents are Jacob and Susan Moses
Her dad dies of pneumonia and the family is in hardship. They now do not have someone to hunt, or do they.
All of the family pitches in to help, her mother went to work as a nurse, Annie started hunting, and her siblings helped out with chores.
Annie is sent off to Darke Country Infirmary, a place for poor people to worik. She worked in the housework to earn enough money for a stay.
Annie runs away from a new couple she had been sold to. They had been cruel to her and beat her.
People began to see her talent as a sharp shooter and her hunting employer sends her off to a competition with a professional: Frank Butler. She is fifteen. On the last shot Butler missed! Ann hit the target.
Around this time, Ann and Frank have grown a liking to each other. Frank, first gives her free tickets to his shows, she sent a thank you note. Frank gaver a box of candy.
About this time Ann marries Frank.
By this time, Frank and Ann have already created a performance called: Butler and Oakley.
In the April of 1884, Ann and Frank join up with the Sells Brothers' Circus. They had many animals.
A few weeks later, a man was very impressed with Ann's shooting. He decided to meet with her. His name was Sitting Bull.
Frank and Anne go to one of the most famous performing companies: Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show.
A fifteen year old girl named Lillian joins the Buffalo Bill Wild Show, she becomes Annies' Rival.
Annie visits England and goes to the parade of the Queen Victoria.
Annie Oakley is now in plays that include guns.
By 1893, Annie and Frank moved into a roomy house in New Jersey.
This time Ann decides to join the circus and donates money to charities such as the Red Cross.
The train that had Ann and Frank aboard crashes and both are greatly hurt. It also kills many other animals and performers.
Annie Oakley is accidentally accused for drugs, she takes the matters to court, soon after, she wins the court.
After getting hurt from a car crash in Florida, she dies.
