First Annual Charlotte Frontier Days

A parade, rodeo, arts and crafts show, and queens contest were held at the first festival. The profits this year were donated for bleachers at the high school.

A 1988 time capsule was made and sealed for year 2013; New Queen's float, lots of profits went to Library Project; Amateur Talent Show was added in 1991; Arts and Crafts expanded down Lawrence Ave.

Dolson Buggy, built in Charlotte, was used in fair; some profits contributed to the "Welcome to Charlotte" statue and sign; Fireworks became a highlight; Karaoke Contest added
