I chose this song from The Lion King because me being born is like the circle of life. My family was happy I was born and I am obviously happy i was born, like how everyone is happy in the song.
I chose to put in one of these nursery rhymes because when I was little I had cassette tapes with all of those songs. I would jump around and dance while listening to them.
I chose this song because it is the first song in the Mulan movie. This reminds me of the time when I was little and my grandma was watching me when my parents were away. My grandma and I were watching Mulan. Near the beginning of the movie, close to when this song came on, my grandma farted really loud and it was very funny so the song reminded me of this time.
I chose a song from the Barbie Princess and the Pauper movie because when I was little, my friends and I loved this movie. We would always watch it and sing along to all of the songs with pillows on our heads as we pretended to be the characters.
This song reminds me of when my dad got The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus movie and made me watch it with him over and over and over again.
This is the year when I first started racing in sailing. I chose this song because now I usually listen to it before my regattas so my claws can be out. Meow! Hiss!
This represents this summer when one of my friends and I would drive places and sing Fergalicious really loudly in the car. This was important because it was fun and I was happy and it was something recent.
This song from the movie Tangled represents how I feel about my daily school life. In the song, Rapunzel talks about all of these things she does over and over again and is waiting for her "life to begin."
