Despite the cold weather, the team scrimmages in the snow.
The team gets SGA approval, making the club official.
The Quidditch team defeats Stony Brook in their first game.
Hofstra Quidditch hosts the International Quidditch Association's (IQA) Northeast Regional Tournament.
The team had their first practice of the 2011-2012 season.
The team holds try-outs for the 2011 Quidditch World Cup.

Hofstra makes it to the finals in the Quidditch World Cup. The highlight for the team is a victory against the University of Kansas, the second ranked team that was previously undefeated. Hofstra gets eliminated after the first round of finals, after a devastating loss to Emerson.
Hofstra Quidditch wins all four of the games they played in a tournament held in Central Park.
Hofstra Quidditch gets featured in the Chronicle
To raise awareness about the team, the Flying Dutchmen face each other in a match on Adam's Quad.
Hofstra wins in their first scrimmage of the spring season against the Jetpack Ninja Dinosaurs from Space, Space, Space....
