St. Catherine's Episcopal Church

50th Anniversary activities Celebrating 50 Years of Faithful Service

“Bloom where you are planted, ” they heard, and that it just what they did on October 30, 1961 when 35 Episcopalians organized St. Catherine’s Mission on Holt Road in Marietta. The first service of Holy Communion was celebrated on the first Sunday in December. Now, 50 years later, St. Catherine’s Episcopal Church has grown to around 400 families with vibrant and numerous programming for adults, youth and children. The physical building has expanded over the years, as has our mission to “Welcome, accept, nurture, and serve all people through the power of the Holy Spirit.” To celebrate this important anniversary, many special activities have been planned for year, as well opportunities for each ministry team to be highlighted.
