Mt St Helens Service

Beginning in 1982 NCEMS entered into an agreement to provide ambulance and rescue service to the Mt. St. Helens area. This agreement is self supporting; no tax dollars from Clark or Cowlitz County go into that project. Many lives have been saved in this area because of this extension of NCEMS service. This photo was taken on a clear day and shows Mount St. Helens after the 1980 eruption.
