The Rich Coast Project is selected as a client organization of the Legal Skills in a Social Context Program at Northeastern University School of Law. A group of first-year students perform intensive legal research throughout the academic year.

Fiscal Sponsorship

The Rich Coast Project receives fiscal sponsorship from Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization.


The Rich Coast Project incorporates as a Massachusetts non-profit corporation.

Fieldwork Trip

Katie Beck returns to Caribe Sur after spending the summer studying for and taking the bar examination.

Professor Blanco-Rivera joins team

Professor Joel Blanco-Rivera joins the team as an advisor and expert on digital archiving

Patrick Offenheiser joins the team

Patrick Offenheiser, documentary filmmaker at Baltazar Productions, joins the team

Indiegogo Campaign

Online fundraising campaign raises over $5,000 for field research trip in early 2014
