Spotted Lake

We went to Spotted Lake. We were told it was a sacred lake that is used for healing. Malik noticed dead salamanders in the mud. All of us walked around to honour the lake and say a prayer. Realle felt a strong energy at some parts of the lake. Malik said it was cold.

Meeting in Kenora

We had a meeting today where we discussed the details for our workshop on April 15. As a group, we decided to meet in Kenora at Lakeside and it went well. We loved the board room. During our meeting we made sure that everyone knew what had to be done until our workshop date. Everyone took home a piece of homework to do. (Yes, we ate steak. Sorry Amanda, but thanks Andy.)

Water Action Plan Workshop

Today was the day we had our water action plan. We worked super hard for the last few months planning for this workshop. In the workshop we had some guest speakers and we also prepared a presentation as well that Rebecca performed. It was a great success and we loved the experience. Thank you CIER and the Vancouver Foundation.
