The aim of this project is to help encourage cross-cultural cooperation and appreciation of the diversities within Europe, to explore ways to confront discrimination and to highlight a European dimension. Through the study and comparison of lifestyles and values, the students will uncover the commonalties which traverse all European cultures. The students will compare and contrast these cultures and through multicultural team building and team work they will reach a spirit of cross-cultural cooperation, compromise, awareness and appreciation of the diversities within Europe. Furthermore, they will explore ways to confront discrimination, thus ‘discovering’ alternative means to contribute to tolerance and social integration.
