Michelle Phan was born on 11 April 1984 (age 24) Massachusetts (North-east America) Both her parents were born in Vietnam. Then later moved to California.
Michelle Phan andher family moved to Tampa Florida to attend high school. Michelle Phan originally wanted to be a dermatologist from the request of her mother, but later on she convinced her mum to allow her to major in illustration, being inspired by her mum as a nail technician. After high school, she attended Ringling College of Art and Design and Massachusetts College of Arts and Design. But did not graduate from college. While college Michelle Phan created her youtube account and then created her first video.
Michelle Phan first joined youtube in Feburary 16 2006 under the name "ricebunny" and later on created her professional makeup guru channel called "MichellePhan" in 18 July 2006.
Michelle Phan got hired by Lancôme as a spokesperson and started using Lancôme products in her videos and continuously introducing and complimenting Lancôme products.
Michelle phan was the most subscribed guru on Youtube just more than "expertvillage". Then on 4 November 2010 she hit 1,000,000 subscribers after "ijustine".
Michelle Phan is the most subscribed guru beating "expertvillage" by 1,000 subscribers. When Michelle Phan hit 1,000,000 subscribers she was the 2nd most subscribed woman on Youtube after "ijustine" however now, she is the most subscribed woman on youtube and now has 1,700,000 subscribers.
