Ingenuity
Jack Caveney identifies the need for a better wire management solution within control panels and revolutionizes the industry by inventing wiring duct. Trade named Pan-Duct, this product makes it faster and easier to build control panels, improving both productivity and reliability for original equipment manufacturers. GE is Jack's first customer. Ingenuity is a core component of the Panduit DNA - From the beginning, Jack took an outside/in empathic design approach to product management. He made every effort to place himself in each customer’s situation, with empathy for their unique experience. This allowed him to address customer needs and gain a deeper understanding of the applications our products go into. This deep applications research method remains to this day a key factor in the Panduit approach.
