Chris Ryan born in Rowlands Gill, England. His parents are Tyne and Wear. Chris attended Hookergate Secondary College.

SAS

Chris joined SAS in 1984. He enrolled into he army as a boy solider at 16. He was too young to continue and do the 'test week'. Eventually he became old enough and passed selection for Regular 22 Regiment.

Gulf War

This is when Gulf war starts. The was against USA/British and Iraq. It was located in Iraq, Israel, Kuwait, Saudi and Arabia. The Gulf War started in 2 August 1990 and finished on 28 February 1991.

Bravo Two Zero

Chris Ryan joined 'B' squadron and trained as medic. Chris spent eight week at Parachute Regiment before returning to 'B' squadron. He, along with another solider who had joined the SAS from the Royal Navy.

Bravo Two Zero

Things went wrong. There was eight of them, three was killed, four was captured and Chris was the only one escaped. Chris survived in the desert. He walked 100 miles(160km). His group used this type of guns: M16/M203 Assault rifle, FN Minimi light machine gun, each member carried 66mm LAW rocket and Phillips was the only member who carried a back-up weapon, a Browning Hi-Power pistol.

Chris Ryan left SAS

Chris Ryan Left SAS in 1994. He served the SAS 16 years and was ranked Sergant. He was given the Military Medal.

Chris first book was published in 1995. The book called 'The One That Got Away'.

Chris is now an author. He wrote several books like Alpha Force series, Code Red, The One That Got Away, Agent 21, Hunting and heaps more. I especially like his Alpha Force series! Alpha stand for..Alex, Li, Paulo, Hex and Amber. It also stand for Greek letter. It is the beginning of the alphabet and Omega is the last letter in the alphabet. He also work as Security Consultant.
