After high school I attended a Cosmetology school in Eau Claire WI. Once I obtained my Cosmetology license I worked at Blondies, a trendy hair salon in Hopkins MN.
I passed my test and had my real estate salesperson license! A proud day. I could now sell businesses working for my new employer.
As a single parent, I took a financial risk to sell businesses. I was handed the yellow pages book and told to call businesses to inquire if they had an interest in selling their business. When anyone showed interest, a face to face meeting was set. During this meeting I asked probing questions, and analyzed the business financial records to determine business market value.
I worked as an independent contractor for a Mortgage Broker. My duties including meeting with clients, taking mortgage applications, qualifying the applicants, packaging & placing loan package with lenders or investors, troubleshooting and closings.
Founded and ran all aspects of mortgage company that achieved top industry ratings while simultaneously developing online businesses.
My first online adventure! Based off of my hand written sketches a local website design company developed my very first website.
I continued to add relevant websites to enhance my online business. In addition to my local mortgage website I registered domains for and designed a national mortgage website, a mortgage calculator website, a credit website plus more.... connecting them all together to grow my online business.
Online business was great. But... I was not satisfied. There had to be additional online opportunities & strategies to further advance sale momentum. As I continued to devour everything I could about SEO and internet marketing I became familiar with affiliate marketing. This approach was incorporated into my online business development strategy and proved to be a great decision.
Business grew faster than I could keep up with. To adjust to this situation I streamlined the process of online lead distribution using technology and a marketing website. This implementation allotted me extra time I was unaccustomed to.
Out of the blue... the phone rang with an offer I could not refuse. I sold my online businesses to large industry player.
Because a non-compete agreement was a condition of the sale of my online businesses I wanted to find employment in an effort to stay relevant and learn more. As a franchise sales director for Realogy, I traveled in the Midwest to influence independent Brokerages to affiliate with Century 21 or/or buy franchises.
After the non-compete expired, I returned to doing what I love by founding SEOGoogleGuru.com, an online consulting business that provided search engine optimization services to businesses of all sizes and industries.
In an effort to expand my SEO business reach, I became the real estate SEO Google Guru for a real estate consulting firm.
Clients, colleagues and friends approached me to build websites for their businesses. This led to the development of http://WPWBB.com (Wordpress Website Builder Bundle) an online resource to help others build their own websites using open-source applications and incorporating the systematic web hosting, themes, plugins and video training tutorials I had applied to the development of my websites.
After working with SEO real estate clients, it became obvious to me there was a real need for a smarter website solution for real estate companies. http://realWITS.com was founded to provide modern imagery focused website-design, the latest web apps and on-site SEO services all in one package using a fluid environment.
