The 2 day Android App Development Workshop was conceptualized to give a hand-on experience to the participants as they learnt to developapplications in the latest operating system with practical implementation.
IEEE-NSIT student branch organized an Industrial trip to Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd.(TPDDL)(erstwhile North Delhi Power Ltd.[NDPL].) to bring a sense of industrial awareness amongst the students .This was highly anticipated and sought after event Of IEEE-NSIT's annual calendar , and got a huge participation rightly so.
A seminar was organized by Jamboree in association with IEEE NSIT, illuminating students about the prospects of the post graduate program- MBA in India and abroad.
The annual technical fest of NSIT- Innovisonwas co-organized by the student branch of IEEE NSIT. Innnovison was founded in the year 2002 under the name of IEEE by Dr.Prerna Gaur, with an aim to add an essence of being in a technical college among the students at NSIT.
A TED talk was organised by IEEE NSIT, which saw a participation from various universities and organisations.The instigating ideas and motivational talks that exposed the attendees to new and unconventional ideas made this event an informative and unforgettable session indeed.
EEE NSIT students got an opportunity to be a part of a NDTV talk show “The Big Fight”, wherein the students got an opportunity to debate live over the topic- ”India’s investors are losing their faith in India”. The trip proved to be an informative and entertaining excursion indeed.
A workshop on Ethical Hacking was organized at NSIT by IEEE NSIT. Certificates and Tool Kits(Hacking Softwares) were given to all attendees at the end of the workshop.
A leadership talk was organized by IEEE NSIT with an ambition to apprise the students with the qualities of leadership and guiding them on how to aim for better placements. The speaker for the event was Mr. Sandeep Mann.
A GOLD(Graduate Of Last Decade) Event was organized under IEEE NSIT in association with IEEE Delhi GOLD. The speakers for the day were Siddi Jai Prakash and PawanSaraswat (Both NSIT Alumnus).The talk focused on the career aspects for electronics engineers
A career counseling talk on future prospective and fields was held at NSIT under the aegis of IEEE, NSIT. Distribution of books - "Nautical Miles" & "Interview Path Finders" Set of 5 books each worth Rs 5500 was done for free.
A session was required to create the structure of the committee as well as to throw light on the major lacunae suffered by the branches while maintaining their branches. Thus, concept of Delhi Student Congress’12 session came into place.
A two day multi workshop on Embedded Processors was conducted by Texas instruments under the aegis of IEEE. It was in collaboration with Centre for Embedded Product Design(NSIT), IEEE NSIT and Trident Techlabs.The workshops were conducted by the experienced faculty from TI who didn’t only acquaint the students with the intricacies of the embedded processors, but also the students got a hands-on experience with them.
Session by Microsoft Student Partners A session focusing on the upcoming technologies developed by Microsoft was held at NSIT. The event was hosted by Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs) from our NSIT namely Ayush Gupta, Shalu Dagar and Rahul Gandhi. A senior MSP Mr. Arpit Beri from MAIT was also invited as a guest speaker.
A T-shirt painting competition was organised under WIE NSIT in our annual cultural fest Moksha. Certificates and prizes were given to the winners at the end.
A event was organised under WIE NSIT in which participants were given a topic on women empowerment and they have to express their views on it. Some exciting prizes were given to the winners at the end.
