We have been listening to the 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky in assembly. This was written to celebrate Russia defeating Napolean's army in1812.

National Poetry Day

On National Poetry day we celebrated by participating in a poetry picnic. We shared poems and short rhyming stories with our partner classes.

The tomb of Egypt's boy-king Tutankhamun was discovered on November 4, 1922 by English archaeologist Howard Carter.
