First READ library opened in Junbesi Nepal

Twenty years ago, eight porters carried 900 books over a 12,000-foot pass down into the tiny village of Junbesi, Nepal to open the very first READ Community Library and Resource Center - a one-room library in Junbesi Nepal. Sustaining Enterprise: Trekker goods sales, Cable TV service
